Special Olympics Missouri. SOMO & then some...

As your Drive @ 5 Gal, I always like to be where the party is, no matter what time it is. I had the opportunity and pleasure of emceeing the Special Olympics Missouri track meet at Poplar Bluff JR High this year (LET’S GO MULES!!!). I didn’t just have a BLAST, I learned a lot.

Feeling included matters. Being involved matters. Supporting each other matters. Being a cheerleader for one another MATTERS. We went through a time where we had to separate from one another. Now we are all coming together and coming back stronger than ever. Some of us thrived and some of us needed a hand to hold that we couldn’t grasp. No matter the struggles we were facing, we all showed up today POPLAR BLUFF PROUD. Celebrating life in all the happiest ways, welcoming other towns to our home and making them feel good they had the opportunity to come, and come back again. THAT’S COMMUNITY.

Thanks for havin’ me PB.
