Hey it’s Me Ili Z
I was born in Mississippi but I grew up in a small town in the Bootheel. I am a fan of all sorts of different kinds of music, but country has grown on me quite a bit. My favorite artists are The Red Clay Strays, Cody Johnson, Morgan Wallen, and Shania Twain. I know if a song can have me singing, dancing, crying, or laughing by the end of it, the singer did it right! Which is why I love being able to hang out with you during the Midday Mixtape. We can share those high and low moments in life together. I also love hearing from you during the Best Tastin’ Country lunch hour! It has quickly become one of the best things I do in a day and I’m always ready to share the excitement I get with you. When I’m not hanging out with you on air, I am out with my family/friends or singing somewhere. You can come hang out with me weekdays from 10-2 so we can smile, laugh, and sing to some of our favorite country hits!
