Paul Overstreet is headed to the Country Music Hall of Fame in October to be inducted as a songwriter. He’ll make a detour stop at the Honky Tonk Time Machine Saturday Night (7/11) to chat with Glen about his legendary career.
A Grammy Award-winning songwriter and already a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, Overstreet helped shape country music in the 80s and '90s. As an artist, he scored hits like "Seein' My Father in Me," "Daddy's Come Around," "Sowin’ Love” and more. Behind the scenes, he penned some of country music's biggest classics, including Randy Travis' "Diggin' Up Bones" and "Forever and Ever, Amen," as well as Keith Whitley’s "When You Say Nothing At All" just to name a few.
