Glen Johnson Brings Honky Tonk Time Machine To Clear 94 July 4th With Special Guest Co-Host Neal McCoy!
There’s a new show coming to Saturday nights on Clear 94.5…
Well, new to us anyway.
After six years of bringing listeners back to the golden age of country music, the Honky Tonk Time Machine officially makes its debut on Clear 94.5 on Saturday, July 4th from 8 to 10 PM.
Hosted by Glen Johnson, the Honky Tonk Time Machine first hit the airwaves in 2020 with one simple mission: bring back the good stuff. Since then, the show has become a favorite among country fans who still love the sound of neon-lit honky tonks, worn-out dance floors, heartbreak ballads, and boot-scootin' anthems from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s.
But the Honky Tonk Time Machine is more than just great music.
Over the last six years, some of the biggest stars of yesteryear have stepped aboard to co-host, sharing stories, memories, and music with listeners. From chart-topping hitmakers to fan favorites, the show has built a reputation for celebrating the artists and songs that made country music unforgettable.
And now, a new chapter begins.
The debut episode on Clear 94.5 lands on Independence Day weekend and will feature the perfect guest for the occasion—star spangled country music icon Neal McCoy.
Known for massive hits like "No Doubt About It," "Wink," "The Shake," and "They're Playin' Our Song," Neal became one of the biggest personalities of the 1990s country boom. His energetic performances, unmistakable voice, and patriotic spirit have made him a beloved figure in country music for decades.
The July 4th debut will be a birthday party for America 250 years in the making with a night full of classic country, unforgettable memories, and the kind of good-time atmosphere that has defined the Honky Tonk Time Machine since day one.
Whether you're sitting around the campfire, firing up the grill, or kicking back with a cold one after the fireworks, Glen Johnson and Neal McCoy invite you to pull up a barstool and be part of the next chapter.
The Honky Tonk Time Machine.
Bringin' Back the Good Stuff.
